What also makes you think that the majority of Filipinos are, as you say, opportunists and out to make a quick buck? Do you know the majority of Filipinos and how they think and act in such situations?

I may not know the fellow Filipinos I've dealt with as much as you like, but my opinion of them comes from my personal experiences with them. Heck, even my barber chased me outside the barbers shop to return excess money to me when I overpaid for a haircut (I was in a hurry and mistakenly thought I paid P100 when I actually gave a P500 bill). Maybe your low opinion of your fellow Filipinos was formed by your own experiences... have you often been gypped or taken advantage of by a fellow Filipino?

Your so-called "factors" led you to say that the victim is "likely" to be a prostitute and/or an opportunist. I never said the girl was innocent and the men guilty. I only took exception to your assertion that she's "likely" to be a prostitute or opportunist out to make a quick buck from the american soldiers, because I believe that's totally unfair to her since your basis for that assertion is your belief that the majority of Filipinos are opportunists and "out for money", which I believe to be inaccurrate and insulting to all Filipinos.

The fact that you say "chances are" she's a hooker or opportunist, without any investigation, but say that we should NOT assume that the Americans did rape her, again without investigation, really sounds to me like a double-standard. Ok... lets do it your way... "Chances are" the American soldiers did rape her, because soldiers are generally ***-craving maniacs who will jump at the chance of gang-raping a Filipina when there's an "opportunity". Does that sound fair to you? Here I didn't say they raped her, I said "chances are" they raped her, based on "factors" such as soldiers being away from women for considerable periods of time, building up testosterone from all that violence and physical activity.
