you need

1. black backround
2. some insence sticks (of course lighters)
3. flash
4. off cam flash triggering device (in my case i used nikon's CLS)
5. tripod
6. fan
7. remote relase cord (optional)
8. music (optional)

see pictures for set up.. what is important is that the flash should be able to light the smoke as it goes up..

camera settings
ISO: 100
Aperture: f8-f16 (depends on you taste.. for this set i find f11 the best)
Shutter: n/a
Shooting Mode: A or Av

Post Process

make at least 2 layers
cut the top layer to make a half
align the two
create a new layer on top and paint over it
change the blending to overlay
merge and save

in this picture.. i did not add any coloring.. just the usual and a little brightness.. i think a little blueish siya because of the flash..

hehe nice one pchan try daw og crop one of the smoke light streak then ee neatimage para limpyo noise then ee edit -- > invert sa photoshop
