what's wrong with celebrating Christmas? so what if Jesus wasn't really born on December 25? the pope celebrates mass on christmas, is he pagan too? toinks

bro, i've also read 'bout how Constantine embraced Christianity and how he incoprated his pagan beliefs with Christianity .. Mabasahan mn pud gani na sa Da Vinci's Code ni Dan.. December 25 is also not the actual birth of Christ,to some it is the estimated date lang. PERO even if paganism ang Christmas sa view sa ubang believers, it has brought a lot of good things to humanity.. I dont' think the Lord Christ would think that the celebration of Christmas would be a blasphemy to him.

whoever wrote this (obviously this was taken from a book somewhere), kinsa man gahatag niya ug katungod (AUTHORITY) to say that practicing Christmas is blashpemous to God You may have presented historical facts but I don't see anywhere from what you posted or even from all those historical facts that the NOW transformed Christmas practice nga gikan man kaha ug pagan practice is blashpemous to Christ.

Although the date and practice may have originated from pagans, but what does Christmas now symbolize? Does it not symbolize the birth of our savior whom you say we blaspheme? Does that not make you like the Pharisees before? Does it not represent love, giving, families reuniting, happiness? Is there any other season of the year whose essence is more pleasing to God Unsa man kuno? Bonifacio Day? Valentine's Day?

If it originated from pagan practice, who cares?!! Look at what it is now? Don't you appreciate the fact that Jesus Christ influenced a pagan practice to such extent that it's now being celebrated by the whole world in his name?

Can't you appreciate that? I'm sure Jesus Christ wants you to appreciate that and not overlook that fact. If you keep on dwelling on the past and rejecting it because of its history then indeed you're no different than the Pharisees.
