Asteriod Hit Earth in Nov. 19, 2008 EST

I still can't believe that an asteriod hit the earth last Nov. 19, 2008 Eastern Standard Time. I saw the live news on Cinemax last Nov. 20, 2008 @4PM Manila time, and it stunned me for a while. I was shocked when i saw how on earth NASA wasn't able to predict the coming of such huge space stone to blast in earth that caused damage to not only one blasting site but THREE; Wyoming, France & China. The huge space rock split into 3 asteriods after it passed the Polar Cap.

Until now am still shocked with this news. I tried searching in Google but am very unlucky. It seemed to me that there is a news block on this incident for i really can't find any match to any search key i use. Am calling to those istoryans to share information regarding this matter if they happen to see the news from Cinemax on that same day.

Actually bay, I like your optimism. Ako pod, how I wish we can do something like that--just destroy it. But again, dili ko sure. Basin diay kaya, basin dili--I'm not an expert in the destruction capabilities of nuclear warheads in space against large rocks hehehe.

well that's is a classic example of how competitive film making now a days...people from the industry desperately try or will always try just to be notice by the public...but the good thing is just very basic.."STOP LOOK AND LISTEN"...and most of all please use Google before posting such a thread hehe

It's not even new, the movie was released way back in 1994.
