Namention man pud na sa Da Vinci Code but one pastor wrote his own review that Christ did not "borrow" or "steal" another god's birthday but rather "competed" with pagan god's which is akin to a marketing campaign. That's same as Globe introducing UNLITXT kai ang Smart naa pud Unli.

I'm not sure if the guy was just "desperately" trying to defend Christianity or he may have done his own research. What I found so amusing was that he said that to Christians, the Da Vinci Code is just another "ho-hum" daw to them and yet he bothered to write an entire review refuting the book's facts that is just long as an entire chapter of the Da Vinci Code. LOL

Let me correct myself. It's not Christ but rather his followers who competed his birthday with other pagan gods.

i think it is best to see christmas in what good it brings rather than how it originated. it's all in the past. what is important is the present.

regardless of christmas being pagan practice or not, people won't care less. christmas for the longest time has ceased to be what history, or a few analysts label it, it has become a celebration, a venue, and an opportunity to reconnect with family and loved ones in a society, so rapidly changing, that it puts social pressure and unrest in our filial and spiritual bonds.
