sulit for its price...i have a 3yrs old HEC Winpower 550AB...my backup psu...buhi pa...ang pares ani patay na...experimented kung naa ba sya SCP(short circuit protection)...hehehehe...wala diay...

naa ra kutob sa manual...pag short nako sa paper clip...ni trip dayon pero wala na kabalik nga buhi...the Silverstones that i tested...mo spring back to life ra man after mo trip...bisag inyo pa e-try...hehehehe...

Mao bahh....kabalo ka bro ang mga product sa una lahi karon more improvements etc.. pero if gusto jud ka makig compete sa hec and other psu brands ok fine pero how can you explain the silverstone st50f irregularity? factory defect? hahaha maski bag-o pa? ang HEC bro never na nagkaing-ana never never! basin cguro imong gi test nga HEC karaan na kaayo. heheheh

maybe...but they should not have place SCP feature diha sa manual/box...not all PSU are perfect...naa gyud na bad batches...case in point kanang nahitabo ron sa Silverstone ST50F...maayo nalang nga solid kaayo ang support sa FU...i'm not competing here...i'm not even using Silverstone or HEC in my rigs...LOL...backup lang nako ang HEC, just in case naa emergency to test something...

well putting SCP in ur product manual and a feature is clearly a marketing hype if inag test wala diay
its so annoying buying a certain product that u hope naa ana nga feature well in fact wala if e test important kaau gyud raba ng SCP tsk tsk tsk
yup sakto gyud ka sir simoko tested my silverstone psu with there SCP so far so good
been using hec psu in my old P4 3.0 ghz pc for 4 years even if sold na to nga rig wala naguba gyud still used pa sa nakapalit ang prob lang is iya 2 ka fan noisy kaau
i guess ang ball bearings maoy culprit ato.....
and in my opinion the price will tell also its performance if we examine a product lets say same wattage
then naa price difference consider man sad if active pfc, with short ciruit protection, overcurrent,over voltage protections, and iya mga certifications..... and beside being a good reputable brand
