Without sarcasm, but with all honesty... that sounds very encouraging. So please do share some more...Hey guys! Just came from the DW retreat at Talavera last week-end also. I am part of the group now who advocates that marriage need not be a case of just bearing with the one you took to the altar/march the aisle with, but it can be a life of bliss and happiness (oh well, trials will always be there... but the skills imparted in the live-in week-end retreat will be tools to make life easier & marriages, happier).
Come to think of it, God didn't actually plan for us to be miserable in our chosen vocation right? Who made it miserable? Must be us...
If you came from a family of fights & hurts, you would probably think marriage sucks. But really, it's up to you and your mate. DW is a tool to make young couples on the way to start a family, to make a different kind of marriage. One that's anchored on God and is based on love. One that holds much promise for a better way of life, marriage included. Marriage need not be a life sentence.
