    The scenario presented here is quite different. Most of ladies I knew with these idea are into thinking that what they just need in life is a kid to take care of and they just dont want the burden of having a man in their life. For them, living with a man around is just some additional stress.

    Going back to this topic, asking such yet with emotional attachement to the guy, that's kinda unusual. For her...its just like asking for a breathing misery to be born. As long as that kid is living, the memory of the man/father lives with the kid. Good if the mother wont be haunted by the past.
