Guys, Tennis freaks and the like...2009 season of racket banging has already started with the 2009 Hyundai Hopman Cup...Next week will be the Quatar open with live coverage in StarSports 9pm E.T...I'll have my money on Roger Federer this time....hehe...I've been bettin' for Rafael Nadal over the last couple of Grandslams and even the Tennis Masters Cup if he was only able to play...but i think this is Rogers LAST chance to redeem himself in the tennis world...

I think Rafael Nadal wouldn't last very long on the top spot, not because of how good he is,(there's no question about that)..But because of how he plays,..his body takes a considerable amount of beating when he plays...he plays the points very long because he loves to get into long rallies, i mean, thats just how the guy plays and i think his injuries of late have been an evidence to how much battering his body has taken over the 2008 season...

if Roger won't be able to regain the top spot this year, then my money would be on Novak Djokovic or Andy Murray,..Those guys are consistent in what they do and they seek to improve their game every single tournament...

Enough of the "Top Dogs" in tennis, i think Jo Wilfried Tsonga is a very2x good prospect to be on the top 5 this year if he can be consistent enough on his gameplay...if he can play as well as he did in last year's Austrailan Open, then the guy would do very well this year....
