The Kinks!!!

don't know much about them cept for their wikipedia entries. im more interested to know who else likes them.

my favorite songs from them are:
Stormy Sky
This time tomorrow
Waterloo Sunset
Strangers
Sleepwalker

I believe they really did provide a fine blue print for today's rock music, but im more inclined towards their more melodic songs. i like how Ray Davies' songs are brief in words but always about to burst with the meaning he wants to tell everyone.

Stormy sky will be my wedding song btw. now i only need to find a wife. hahaha!

Kinks...the thinking man's rock and roll.

Get the 'Low Budget' Album(probably the best). Very appropriate for this economic times (as was in the early eighties).
