amd never win over intel in overclocking with the terms of Heartz reached ( read carefully b4 reacting ) not speed.
even during the time of the reigning S939 A64Fx : Fx53 to Fx60 | Opterons

these mighty processor are ditched by the lowly Pentium D 805 in terms of GHz and Speed.

and but PD 805 at 4.2GHz is dubbed as mini small reactor due to heat and power consumption.

FUTURE :

lets just hope AMD can counter the NEHALEM.. cuz today , AMD is just one of the many processor companies playing catch-up with Intel and most of the time ..they just suck in terms of performance comparison.. but doing great in terms of marketing.

and with Nehalem , amd does not offer any competition at all ( except price maybe ). in terms of performance, the monster massacre the X4s with up to 60% gaps.
