Si Roy Jones sa iyang reign sa Light Heavyweight kadtong prime pa siya, he was playing it safe.. a lot more like Calzaghe and Mayweather. But I give credit to Roy for stepping up the competition by fighting Tarver and Johnson. And even if he was playing it safe, EXCITING gyud kaau iyang mga fights.. he was flashy, quick and had one punch KO power. His reflexes were second to nobody, and his natural talent kept him winning for a long time. Nindot gyud kaau to so Jones kadtong prime pa niya...duwaan ra gyud unta to niya si Calzaghe adtong panahona ug nag away pa sila..

Jones -- mao toy classic example sa can't pull the trigger.. though I give him credit for dropping Joe and hanging in there in the later rounds.. pero wa na gyud si Roy oi.. di na kasumbag ug tarong kay ang iya gisaligan gud talent ug reflexes man, unya ma wa man na ug ma tiguwang naka.. unlike Hopkins ba nga old school, throwback fighter.. kahibaw gyud sa basics.. looks ordinary but gets the job done coz he doesn't make mistakes.
Disappointing kaau nis Calzaghe mo away oi.. Jones was ripe for the taking, pastilan wa jud ka close sa show.. INUTIL !! hinuon, utro naman sad gud cya nga tiguwang na..
IMO, I'd rank Hopkins higher than both guys as far as greatness is concerned..

just saw the fight tonight (bwisit ang live video stream kay naputol pag main event!), RJJ is way past his prime, was slow & always on the defensive mode, luoy na kaau tan.awon pag round 7 when he had the cut nag awas2x, tiwasan pa sa cutman nga way au!
if it was held 6-8 yrs ago it would have been a competitive fight.... i hope JC would fight Chad Dawson for his final fight..
