The pet will likely bark at all hours of the day and night, but in some cases it may only react at certain times. The first step is to realize why the animal is behaving in this way. Pay attention when it starts making noise and see if there is any reason for the behavior. Some pet owners have learned that their animal is reacting to and outside stimulus like the sound of a clock chiming, a voice on the television or some high pitched frequency. Eliminating these noises can work as a method of dog training to prohibit the barking.

The next way of dog training to stop barking is to show the dog that the noises aren't acceptable and will not be tolerated. This can be done by using a spray bottle of water or a loud voice. Some owners will also use a shock collar, but most experts don't recommend this. There is a belief that the shock gives off a high pitched noise that actually makes the dog bark even louder. Others believe that the shock collar will only confuse the animal because it can't understand why it's being punished.

Typically a loud noise or voice is best for dog training to prevent barking. Animals react to a scolding tone because it's accustomed to hearing only friendly voices from its owner. Telling it no, the clicking of a tongue or a loud clap can cause it to stop immediately. The bottle of water works in much the same way for dog training in relation to barking. A quick burst of water can confuse the dog and disorient it enough to focus its mind on something else instead of making noise.

thanks for the tip. I have a problem with my beagle's baying bark coz saba kaayo especially during the night na makakita sya ug iring. what i did is to punish her kung magsaba2x using my tsinelas. mohilom man pud. maluoy lang ko every time i do it kay mo uk2x sa daplin. ok ra ba akong gibuhat?

its true labi na when they hear their boss na nasuko base lng sa voice. it really works for me labi na when i do a hand signal. pero karon with my new dog (husky) wla gyud na ni affect niya pero wat i did is nagpalit ko kana ibutang sa baba then ako butang if saba cya pero after i see na nihilum na cya ako tangtangon then ako cya hikaphikapon para makahibalo cya nga sakto iya buhat na wla na cya bark and it really works for me.
