@simoko: my dream board is in your system. T_T **i wish, i wish**
Q6600 - idle around 35-37 depends on ambient temp., load is around 45ish... using Tuniq 120
Q9550 w/ Thermalright XP90c/IC Diamond 7 Carart -- OC to 3.1 ---> idle 40s....load 50s
Bro as what I seen sa imong temps ok raman as of now if your system doesnt shows abnormality you dont have to worry about it. Buying a cpu cooler like what I did was the best thing to do coz when I am using a stock HSF I got 60C-70C on load/burn test so thats why I get a CPU cooler.
In your case its your choice and a good idea and good option too but I suggest dont do things in a rush test your system even for 1week burn test and see if something screwed up! you can compare, you can observe if your system is normal and functioning well even using a stock cooler and generic PSU's etc.. ELSE if something is wrong exist during the test thats the time for you to get a cooler and good PSU.
One thing, generic PSU's are not even closer to branded PSU's where you have a peace of mind. DUAL CORES, QUAD CORES usually needs more power so if you have good PSU your system is should be stable enough!
I hope it helps.
