You know what, this made me think, if women were being oppressed in islam, i wonder why most of its converts are women, and they all came from different races,cultures,educational backgrounds and some were former active members and leaders of feminist groups.


You see islam dont base their system to Western freethinkers,look what happened to christianity in the west right now, we can barely see any christian values and ethics.

These western women who were influence by freethinkers have either abandon or compromise their christian values and heritage. They are being abuse w/o them knowing it. Their bodies are being use to sell products and items. Their high education lead them to abandon their belief in God and in rebellion toi their parents and husbands, Fashion and trends reduced them to a whore and made them dress less.

Islam will not give in to these kind of stuff.

At the time I was wearing mini skirts and had long hair. Veiling was the most difficult decision of my life.
Veiling was a huge struggle for me. My mother and all the family were against me. I had to fight to convince everyone, I had to be strong. I didn’t want people to look at me for my body and my hair.
In the street I’m not bothered like I was before, and I feel peace inside. When I started to veil, men respected me.


I realised that Westerners had a very bad image of Muslim women. So I decided to study and I learnt how to read the Koran properly. I did a two-year course at the Institute of Preaching in Egypt.
My father was against me becoming a preacher. He said I should earn my living, because I don’t get paid for doing this


I preach to women in a mosque. I talk about Islamic legislation, the five pillars of Islam, marriage, divorce, women’s rights, inheritance laws.
I can’t stand the stereotyping about Islam because it is not the truth. The West believes that women in Islam are suppressed, oppressed, deprived of their rights. This is not true. Nothing has supported women and given rights to women like Islam.
My sermons deal with women’s issues, things that women can’t ask the sheikh. Openly sexual stuff even – menstruation, menopausal problems, vaginal dryness, what happens when a woman doesn’t reach her desire, how some men only think there is vaginal pleasure and don’t know about clitoral pleasure. A lot of women are very shy and I say, "Don’t be shy, it is your right".

bro malic....i read the articles dili pa lang nuon ang tanan...i understand sa point of view nga gi present...pero nag wonder lang ko if gina apply ba jud correctly ang teachings sa islam sa uban countries nga super strict labi na ang treatment sa women....siguro if we take saudi arabia as example....tingali sa rulers lang na nga edicts ...nya gigamit nila ang islam as excuse for their "laws"...parehas pag exploit sa taliban sa teachings sa islam ..kay extremist man to sila....

pero i still maintain bro...nga dehado jud tawn ang women...especially sa saudi (wala man ko kabalo sa uban countries kon unsa ang sitwasyon)...and sa afghanistan sa time sa taliban...ambot kaha karon na arang2x na ba

Mao ni mam ang problem,there are islamic countries nga extreme kau ilang mga interpretations sa mga hadiths ug Quran,in other words sobra sila ka protective bah kay kining mga restrictions sa mga babaye mam ang intention jud ani is to protect them from immorality and abuse from men. But kung ang Quran imong pasultihon ang mga babaye dunay daghang katungod ug dapit unahon ang ilang welfare kay tungod we are created equal in the eyes of God.

Sauna man gud ang mga babaye kulang sa edukasyon mao ng gi re regulate ang mga babaye but gi encourage pod sila sa Prophet nga mo strive for excellence. So karun lahi naman ang dagan sa kalibutan so dapat dunay mga changes nga buhaton para ma fulfill katong gi sulti ni Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) nga dapat mo strive sila(women) for excellence. Mao ng karun dunay mga islamic countries nga ni release ug mga Fatwas(ruling) nga dapat i adjust na ang mga katungod sa muslim women for reason nga osab na ang dagan sa kalibotan BUT this doesnt mean nga ilang e compromise ilang morality.

Read on mam para ma diferentitate nimo kung unsa ang mga extreme interpretations ug ang moderate islam.

The site upon which the mercy and blessings of Allah are constantly descending. There is truly nothing comparable to the House of Allah on this Earth. People wish time would stand still so they could keep gazing at the Kaa'ba; their thirst is never quenched, rather it increases.
Once, while on a visit to Washington, people told me that a woman had accepted Islam and had some questions for me. They told me that many non-practicing Muslim women had started practicing again due to her. At prayer time she would dress in her best clothes as if readying herself for someone special, and would become oblivious to everything around her as soon she started praying.
After a brief question and answer session, I asked her what prompted her to accept Islam. She sighed and started explaining; "I was a Jew and my husband was a Christian who was posted in Saudi Arabia for some technical work. Everyday I used to see Muslim men and women dressed in white on their way somewhere. I asked my husband where they were going and he told me that they go to perform pilgrimage at the Muslim shrine of Kaa'ba. I expressed a desire to go but he told me that non-Muslims were not allowed. However, I was determined and so we both bought white clothes and set out. Fortunately no one stopped us and we reached Makkah, from where we found directions to the Kaa'ba. Upon seeing the Kaa'ba our eyes froze and time seemed to stand still. When we turned to look at each other after some time, we were both crying. With our eyes we told each other that this was the Truth and we should accept Islam. No one ever told me about Islam, but there were so many blessings descending on that House that they changed my life forever."
The blessings of Tawhid descend in Makkah, and the blessings of Prophethood descend in Madinah. One has seen nothing in life if he has not seen these two holy sites. May Allah give all Muslims the opportunity to visit to His House.

first there are rituals to be perform when you go to this site and non-muslims have no idea how to perform this rituals,This ritual is only given and taught when one decides to become a muslim. One will be in great sin if you come to this place when you dont perform that ritual,so to avoid this sin no non-muslim must come to this place. para dili makasala ang non-muslim.

second,stricto ang Saudi when it comes to implementing rules.

dude, malic. nice info about women converts pre. it is my observation pud that christianity, is subtly (although that's an understatement) centric on men. There are aspects about it that seeks to undermine women although their religious believers deny this.

These are the points that led me to believe that christianity is more male-centric:
1.) Paganism and Witchcraft are depicted as evil and heathen. Why? Because both religions are female-centric. This is where the word "Mother Earth" originated. Because to pagans the Earth is considered a woman who gave birth to all life on it. God is the sky and water is his *cough* *cough* semen that fertilizes the soil with which life begins. Feminists would have a field day over this fact.
2.) Key women in the bible are depicted as docile, soft-spoken and unquestioning characters and future religious leaders and followers would go on to instill this kind of personality and role-model in generations of women to come. Sadly, that is not the case because IMHO women have just as much emotional strength as men.
3.) The female's nature to be sweet, malambing, emotionally erratic and playful is called lustful and is considered sinful.
4.) *** is exclusive to married couples and this act is considered sinful outside it. However, in female-centric religions, this is considered sacred and to make love to a woman - any woman - is considered, to feminine religions, a homage to the female where the life of a human being is borne.

So the rise of Christianity is basically just a hormone-charged gender war. That is my observation.

And please, don't make me quote useless verses. The ones who know don't care and those who care don't know.
