    To those who like to read confident, intelligent, sexual character, with suspense and action-packed....... I would recommend, Lee Childs book on Jack Richer...... this guy(jack richer character) rocks! :mrgreen:

    probably the best ludlum i ever read, in terms of developing a character was "aquiataine progression".. Nice lead character.. a lawyer named joel converse... he reminds me a lot of Clancy's Jack Ryan..

    The Harry Potter series
    Anthem by Ayn Rand (kay nipis ra man)Â*
    Different Seasons by Stephen King (superb gyud!- esp. The Body)Â* :mrgreen:

    These books I don't really wanna read again! but which stories are so intense i can't get them off my mind forever:

    Neil Gaiman's American Gods (Killer!Â* )
    Lord of the Flies....kinsa gani to ang author...gosh, i forgotÂ*

    I recommend One Hundred Years of Solitude and Love In the Time of Cholera, both by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

    I also recommend Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita.

    None of Dan Brown's Garbage.

    The Alchemist is also garbage.

    Amy Tan novels are quite a treat. It has love, drama, interesting Chinese values & culture intertwined in its plot. One of her acclaimed literary piece, Joy Luck Club even made it to the big screen. Check out The Kitchen God's wife, The Hundred Secret Sense and her newest book The Bonesetter's Daughter. I haven't had a chance to read the latter but would love to get my hands on one.
