Your favorite robot anime/cartoon?

Technically, a robot should be autonomous (i.e. having the ability to move and think on its own), and thus most of the "robots" mentioned in this thread are either shape-changing vehicles (i.e. Voltes V, Diamos etc), or personal armour / battlesuits (i.e. Gundam). Thus, the only true Anime robot I could call a favorite is none other than...



Update: I just checked your posts...I find it kinda sad that no one mentioned the only "true" robot in anime.

4.) Voltes V - One of the best vehicle combination whatever thingy teams
3.) Voltron(kadtong mga lion robots) - One series I enjoyed as a kid
2.) Astro Boy - YET another timeless classic
1.) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH
