Bag.o ra ko nipalit ug 640gig na HD.

Pag taod nako, ang nigawas sa windows kay 596gig ra.

Naka notice man ko nga kwaan jud ang space gamay kay akong 40gig 37gig nalang...

Unsa diay explanation ani?

Lain man sad gud..640gig to 596gig....murag usa ka 40gig nawala..hahahahahaha

HDD manufacturers use 1000MB = 1GB, while windows, uses the Computer Science Standard 1024MB = 1GB. from what i know, dapat 625GB ang register sa windows sa 640GB na HDD. check for second opinions. cheers. [try reformatting the said disk, basta 625GB na imo makita, mao na na]

Computer Software:
1 GB as (1073741824 bytes)

so:

= 640GB x (1000000000 bytes / 1073741824 bytes)
= 596 GB (computers dont understand your decimal placing. hehehe)

= 640GB x (1000000000 bytes / 1073741824 bytes)
