His father...The late mayor of Mandaue city....Demetrio Cortes Sr....who served the people of Mandaue city for 26 consecutive years never had this kind of criticism from the residents and the people of mandaue, because HE SERVED, not the other way around.....

and thats why i think he deserved to be remembered...

BAD

Very poor management. Look at Mandaue's roads, non-working traffic lights and flooding problem. They cannot even afford paying the Mactan Bridge 2's electric bill and has never activated the street light on the subangdaku flyover. Plus the moneymaking Jadewell which tows your car for very absurd reasons. Added by the Mega Shabu Lab issue. Right now Mandaue is going strict on tax collections but we never see or enjoy where this money go. They should also solve the Butuanon River problem because it's very polluted and it stinks more than a sewer.

I personally saw the First Lady of Mandaue splurging on local designer clothes and shopping at Rustan's. They have no qualms or delicadeza. Naa pa'y bodyguard, magpapayong pa. Pildi si Gloria and her husband who is fond of flaunting his "bibingka-like" face everywhere and naming almost all the agency and projects in Mandaue after him as if he is spending his own money.

Unsa ra gud na si Dong Pedong kung buot huna-hunaon?!
