tried this myself...very close to the street fud sauce, modify lang accdng how spicy or sweet you want it....

    sweet n sour sauce:
    1/2c vinegar
    1/2c sugar
(mix bth in the pan till dissolved)low fire
1tbsp catsup (mix with 1/4c water)
    1tbsp cornstarch mix with 1/4 c water

combine everything then add chopped onion, garlic and finger chili

    brown sauce:
    1/2c vinegar
    1/2csugar
1/2 can content of royal or sprite(i used royal kay mas lami cya compared sa sprite)
    1tbsp soy sauce
    1tbsp flour

mix everything, adjust msrmnt ghapon accdng to desired taste

    or try this also

    1tsp. to 1 tbsp oil
    brown the garlic
    water
    brown sugar
1tsp to 2 tbsp soy sauce
    ground black pepper
then mix and tancha2 ghapon nga makapasar sa inyo lasa
then mix with cornstarch dissolved in water (thickening)

.....so far ok ra man sa akoa ni nga recipe...enjoy!
