Strangest quake I've ever experienced. The shaking was up and down and lasted only 2 seconds. This is probably a vertical type slip rather than plates slipping horizontally. Usually, the shaking lasts more than 5 seconds, and you can doublecheck with a glass of water...there was a bottle of Absolut vodka near my table, and it stopped sloshing around after only 3 seconds. So it's a very minor quake.

yeah i think it was pretty strong. about 3 to 4 guro. anyway, it was fortunate that it only lasted about 3 seconds. if it lasted longer, i feel that our house would collapse. hehe anyway, glad you guys are alright and i hope there was no accidents around cebu because of that.
