While I would like to argue the irreconciliable differences between all strands of Marxist ideology and the Catholic faith too, the topic of the thread is truly very exciting, to me at least. May I respectfully ask all the posters to please limit ourselves to the subject.

However, I am well aware of the role and influence of Darwinian evolutionary theory on the communist ideology of Marx and Engels, and all Marxist thinkers, but perhaps we could set that aside until we exhaust all discussion on the implications of the Big Bang Theory and Darwinian evolution upon each other.

I can only say plausible because those two theories are currently the most popular if not just very popular theories in their respective categories.Â* It doesn't mean they are 100% proven beyond a doubt correct.Â* It just means that those theories currently provide the most plausible answers that most scienstists agree upon.

A theory is like an observation which hasn't been proven false yet.Â* It may still be modified when there's new evidence.Â* For example, when Albert Einstein came up with the Theory of General Relativity (E = MC2), he added to and modified (actually sort of proved wrong) Isaac Newton's classical theories of gravitation.

Both men are still very highly respected, of course.Â* Heh.Â* I'm actually glad this topic isn't about Einsten or Newton's theories.Â* ^^;;Â* I'm kind of fan of those two. Darwin's marvelous of course, but biology doesn't interest me as much as physics. As for the Big Bang Theory, I don't even know who came up with it.

Black Holes are interesting though. Once read something about how a big mega huge blackhole compressed everything and may have started the big bang.

Both are just theories and are projects of the researchers ... yet they are still deemed to change and nothing's still absolute of the two ....

Ever since i got a grasp of science, i was never a believer of both the big bang and evolution. I don't even believe in aliens, exobiology and the like.

We can study the universe and the stars and the galaxies. How amazing! How beautiful! I can't believe im floating in the vast universe.

I believe that there is a God... now, about how we came to be? no one can really prove that aight?
