    no its not...
HD 3850 just can't handle crysis or crysis warhead nicely
on high or very high quality above 1280x1024 resolutions.

if you want to turn on all the eye candy in this game at the highest resolution,
build a setup similar to this rig

Para nako part, palit lang ka ug ubos na proc like e2160, then lig-on na board like P35, then bira maayo sa videocard, like 8800GT sa imo budget, then i overclock dayon ang imo processor. Makasave gyud ka og overclock. ang e2160 proven na to go from 1.8 to 3.0 with no problem.

    Edit:
@loloys, para ra man na sa adunahan imo rig bro.

    Nice RIG!

For me these days you would need a better and fast new PC because every now and then softwares and games are always updating to and may need higher system requirements to get the benefits of it. It very important jud not just for the sake because its new but it would matter every now and then.

For ex: I have a system P4 or socket A do you think it would run Adobe CS4 softwares? mao na ako pasabot. I hope it helps.

core2duo is pretty standard nowadays but its highly overrated for daily use, i mean when it comes to office work, browsing and stuff even single cores are alright, when it comes to gaming and data processing such
as video editing and calculations for research, the higher power processor the better.

stick to dual core for now, quad core is still pretty far and expensive for gaming

video cards now do most of the work compared to the processors

    mao lagi bro...
at least naa nakay idea unsa ang system makadagan og crysis at its best.
so now you can compare the system you are planning to build from this one.

of course you can always play crysis at lower settings.

nice rig up there.. two thumbs up for you...

most games nowadays only use 2 cores
going quad is somewhat overkill pa
    OC'ing will get you're money's worth gyud
invest on a good board (ie. gigabyte ga-ep35-ds3l)
and get the best video card you can squeeze sa imo budget
    a good set of memory
and of course don't forget to invest on a good power supply
silverstones for me... with 3 years of peace of mind is simply unbeatable
