The same goes for fraternities dude - a lot of them profess to promote good values yet they are scumbags. Take note, I'm not saying all of them because that would be generalizing - maybe some?

Again it's just branding/categorizing/grouping - any group can both have good and bad members thus it is also expected that the straight edge groups would have militants as well as people who don't tend to shove their SXE beliefs to other people's faces. (:

Never heard of one. Kung namira man, it's not because they are militants of their straight edge belief but maybe because of other personal disputes hehe.

Mostly sa gawas man daghan ana (kay gamay raman gud straight edge diri sa Cebu or Philippines for that matter) - the most notable people who started those actions were from Boston several years ago as documented but most of them are done doing it ug tiguwang napod sila. Relax na sila lol
