HELP gawas blue screen nya mu restart.. nya init kaau ang south ug ang northbridge..

mga bro, natural ra ba na init kaau ang southbridge, like lets say lisod inig hikap mura nag makapaso? and ang heatsink sa northbridge medyo init2 pd.. nya ni hinay jd ako pc.. nya naa na mu appear na error, as in blue screen jd mu gawas.. unsaon pag fix ani...? unsa ka ha problem ani mga master? help ninyo b.

I also similar problem sa akoa before, init kaayo akong north/southbridge I am using AM2 Nvidia Geforce6100/Nforce430 chipsets using builtin videocard that time.

Akong MCP temperature mo abot ug 70-80C sa akong board before sa wa pa nako gi replace. Mo hangup cya/garbage display init kaayo akong MCP.

Why karon rana nimo na figure out ang problema?

k2 bluescreen bro.. maybe sa corrupt files to nimo mao hinay ug mo bluescreen..

try install the latest driver daw bro then run the benchys..

If you have extra thermal paste, you can start by remounting your north and southbridge with a good brand of thermal paste in between, im sure ok nana after ang heat. Not sure ko sa bluescreen, you need to determine gyud whats causing it, try running Prime 95 or orthos while using deduction sa hardware.

I don't get it why you people keep recommending puting an extra thermal paste with heat problems.

Thermal paste does not reduce heat! What it does is efficiently transfer heat from the chipset to the heatsink. If your heatsink is cold when it's supposed to be hot, then you have to worry and apply thermal paste.

If the the guy's chipset is overheating, it's not because of lack of thermal paste but indicative that it's transferring tremendous amount of heat on the heatsink and the chipset is getting overworked which may shorten it's lifespan.

You do need to check or isolate the problem why your chipset is overheating and most of the reason i've observed with it is due to overclocking. If you really want the temp to go down and you're a DIY type, you can try replacing the chipsets' heatsink with a bigger one or put a fan on it, that's what I did during my pentium classic overclocking days.
