Go for PSP if you want quality games plus multimedia like video and audio. Although, internet browsing in PSP is quite difficult to do. Next target na ang ipod touch.
web browsing isnt a concern for the thread starter...so its clear psp would do it for him best.
sa D palang hagbung gyud ang touch.
touch has no connectivity to speak off...
MR.T: "i pitty the fool who relies on itunes" hehehe.

psp ra pd gani ako.. wla nko mg ipod touch oi.. hehehe.. mas maayo pd psp kai at least external ang memory..
ipod touch ko. sige man ko internet.
then get a kohjinsha...or one of those laptop/atom powered devices with faster real web browser.
ipod touch internet browser is crippled. one of its biggest drawback in that arena...lack of flash player or capability. most of the modern sites have flash embedded on them. and did i mention its much slower than a real laptop in browsing the world wide web.
its a "it will have to do if nothing else is available" kind of device for such use...
even more so for the psp.
btw, those kohjinsha/laptops/atom devices also play games, play music, play video and DVDs etc.

React lang ko ani. PSP still does NOT support ADHOC to NON-PSP connectivity (at firmware 4.05 so I'm not sure if this will ever exist). Found a howto on the net but it doesn't quantify simplicty.
my friend bought a new ipod touch 2g and it can detect my laptop's adhoc connection and connected to it after entering just my wep key.
in the world of wireless internet a device must be prepared for the most common connection set ups. Router, Adhoc, web-firewall-enabled sites.
PSP does NOT support VPN (with the understandable exception of advanced security systems like USB keys and secureIDs), it does NOT support web-firewalls. Ergo, if you go to a mall and you have wifi access there that requires that you load a webpage to activate internet, PSP is stuck at a loop (it needs an internet connection to load a page. The mall's internet requires a page has to be loaded to enable internet. PSP cannot do both at the same time like standard web devices). LOL. So if you can live with these connectivity limitations it's ok for a PSP. I own one but the internet issues mentioned here is a frustration. I was only able to use the net on my psp less than a dozen times.

PSP offers excellent multiplayer wireless connectivity available in hundreds of games today. is ipod touch better at multiplayer games (subjective)? which one offer more multiplayer games (by far PSP)?D. CONNECTIVITY - like sa file sharing and of course sa multiplayer games.
psp has wireless connectivity via wifi, cable connectivity via standard USB cable, and interchangeable and expandable via memory card/UMD.
plus it needs no special software to work...drag and drop lang
it also allows game sharing.
file sharing capability.
PSP sharing iTunes over wifi is also possible.
again thread starter doesnt seem to be interested in the internet use of these devices which again is clearly the ipod touch's strong point.
touch doesnt support standard USB...need special cable.
it requires proprietary software to work on pc/mac...75mb download required before use.
doesnt support memory card or any form of removable interchangeable swappable cartridge/disc/card that can be shared with other ipod touch users. sharing not allowed.
in this point of view the psp offers better connectivity.

psp bro dugay ka mapul.an kay dghan available games.. mabuang sad ka. hehehe
A. Comparable lang. I have a video converter for this (free and can do iPods and Touch). Roughly same sizes lang and this is due to the resolution of the touch in my converter being 480p vs the 368p of the psp. Again, if video quality is not an issue go psp.
B. Better ang iPod touch. Can't hear s*** sa PSP speakers unless mag headphone ko. Even then it's still not loud enough sometimes.
C. Too soon to comment on Touch (Wait n see, so I'll hold this until a sensible comparison can be done) but PSP games have considerably dropped in production for some unknown reason (QJ.NET - QuickJump Home - PlayStation Portable News - PSP Updates)
D. Already mentioned in previous post.
