Yes, but only under extenuating circumstances.

Sadly though, abortion being illegal in PI has never really stopped women from trying/doing it. Over the years, women have resorted to quite resourceful, novel and downright crazy schemes to get rid of their pregnancies (e.g. use of metal hooks from hangers, drinking gasoline, swallowing insects/bugs). Of course, these days, they've become more sophisticated in their ways.

The thing is, a woman who is intent in accomplishing her goal will always find a way, whether it be thru legal means or not.
