Osmeņa was said to be resting in the recovery room at 11:30 a.m. yesterday Cebu time after his 1 a.m. operation at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.
According to City Administrator Francisco Fernandez, the malignant mass found in the mayor’s urinary bladder last Oct. 4 was removed during the one-hour surgery yesterday dawn.
