Did ADAM and EVE have Bellybuttons?

NO. Allow me to define it properly. The umbilical cord is the lifeline between the fetus and placenta. It is formed by the fifth week of development and it functions throughout pregnancy to protect the vessels that travel between the fetus and the placenta. Compromise of the fetal blood flow through the umbilical cord vessels can have serious deleterious effects on the health of the fetus and newborn.

So, if you asked if they have? Certainly they don't. As what the Bible said, they were created by God and certainly God didn't get pregnant.

On other note. I find Adam and Eve story was bit off the chart, too. My personal assessment, is that we don't have precise records (scientifically speaking) if indeed they were the first man and woman in the planet.

Let's get back to the joke... hehehe.

i think i agree with you. there some sense in why i believe our forefather and his wife have none. first is, as you said they were made by God. Adam was made from the earth and made alive by God's breath while Eve was made by taking a rib from adam. As far as i know, Navels are scars formed from what used to be Umbilical Cord that once connected us inside our mothers. And from what the bible tell us, both Adam and Eve are the first humans of the Earth. But who am i to question the origin of them. God is the only one who know the truth. These words only constitute my OPINION. So, whatever it is, i leave it out to Him. And to all those who replied on this thread, SALAMAT dyud kaayo nga dako.
