Preserve true humility! What is true humility if not to render praise to God for the good things he has given us? Nowadays, however, there are many people who hate me and who regard my deeds and my words as painful and empty. They welcome that adulterer, the devil, with wide arms, and they love him. Whatever they do for me, they do it with grumbling and resentment. They would not even confess my name, if they were not afraid of the opinion of others. They have such a sincere love of the world that they never tire working for it night and day and are always fervent in their love for it. Their service is about as pleasing to me as if someone were to give his enemy money to kill his son. This is what they do. who's st.birgitta? what does the author of this thread know about her? some people have indeed forgotten about God. but which God are we talking about here? is it the God of the universe and everything? or just the God of the church? Mr. Bible Man could be right when he said that some people chose to forget God. but not for the reasons that Mr. Bible Man and his cohorts are trying to evangelize. BUT, it may be because more and more people are waking up to the idea that the intercession of priests and/or middlemen are not reliable in the first place. that to know God and to experience God, you'd have to go direct to the Source and NOT through any organized religion posing as the exclusive way to salvation. maybe Man is beginning to realize his full potential as dictated by his Awareness of his Higher Self that he can experience God in his own humble way without any intervention from any dogmatic religion.

ok raman ang Religion bei. Pero the more "exoteric" it is, the more it goes more far fetched from the true nature of the divine. That is when mawala na gyud ang lami.

but to those who know, they don't bind themselves to a single set of dogmas but find truth in everything, discarding the unessential and practicing the wholesome without being such a preacher but instead just focus on one's salvation.
