What do you mean by recognize? They can be registered to AKC or PCCI, and they can be entered in show in the rare category by the PCCI.

Sa ako na observe, White GSD has a calmer temperement than colored ones, less aggressive. Its the looks that matters though, elegant kaayo sya tan-awon and unique. When you walk them in public people can't help but stare and ask what breed is it. It looks like a white wolf.

jimi_b: I dont recommend WGSD to people on a budget. I myself care for my dogs more than I care for myself. I give them Vitamins and supplements, plus you have to care for the coat pa... If you ask me kun unsa jud naka mahal nila, I would say the looks jud. you cant find any other dog that looks like it.

if there are two black and tan GSD in front of me and be given a chance to choose; if i'll take two black and tan compared to one white, i'll go for the white.
