Thread: Salvation

nope it isn't conditional -- whenever, whatever and whoever you are or have been, it is for you. free for all who accepts it. but if you reject it, God will not violate your will, HE will not be able to save you as HE intended to do so that's why HE died for you in the first place.

Mr.Ho_chia, hi, do you believe god already knows who these persons who would reject him? if so, why did he even bother to create them. wouldn't it be much be better for everybody if god didn't make them? that way, he can save everybody and jesus death won't be a waste.

I do not know a lot of things, what I know is what i have read in scriptures, truly GOD destined the fate of the believers. Remember that GOD created adam and eve in perfection and a will is part of that creation that GOD can not violate, It was corrupted thru deception by the devil in the garden of eden and the choice was made by men to rebel against the will of GOD.

God cannot violate your will, our will, if we procreate and raise our children as ourselves GOD will not violate that choice, The ultimate sacrifice of Christ is never a waste, it is the manifestation of the highest LOVE that GOD had given to mankind, to die for us so we may have life and have it more abundantly.

    Thanks for asking.

it seems god value more our free will than our salvation. is this what you want to drive at? 'coz its perfectly okay with me, since i believe we are already save.

btw, thanks for for reminding me that jesus sacrifice was a manifestation of the highest LOVE

Not at all. GOD value you, me and all of us as a person, that's why HE gave up HIS life for all of us, for our redemption. It is very easy to hear it but if you think about it giving up the vastness of HIS kingdom and the greatness of HIS glory, giving it all up, clothing HIMSELF into humanity, feeling our pains, sorrows and sufferings, a GOD that is truly loving and caring, that is indeed the highest manifestation of LOVE. Can we not say we are indeed important to HIM, our salvation is, but it is not the nature of GOD to violate our will, our choice. Because salvation and repentance is sweetest when it comes from our heart and by our choice.

@Mr.Ho_chai right sir, it would be great if its our choice, but if we choose the other side, and god knows he can't save us if we continue doing evil, would god still allow us to do it? i mean won't he stop what is obviously wrong? .... if you still think he will not violate our free will, can i also think that god is an accomplice to the crime?

all things are very easy to say than actually do it.
inshort you say you believe, but do you really believe?

coz believing and doing it is different from believing by just words.
    thats all folks hehehe

Again we have choices and made one. We are accountable to whatever we choose to follow or neglect. It is not the nature of GOD to violate our will.
