AMD Splitting into Two Companies

Well, all I see is the processors mite just become more expensive with this move. Splitting it up into a designing plant and manufacturing plant does not make that much sense to me. It will only increase costs further, yah we mite end up with better products but the prices mite be similar to intel already.

I hope the designing plant with include a good R&D and drivers division for ATI video cards..

Well, lets just see how it will turn out More power to AMD!

Intel user man ko before but katong na-daot ako MoBo ug processor, gi-try nako ang AMD.. to my surprise, i see no difference sa performance (sa ako lang opinion)..... i heard a lot of negative feedbacks regarding AMD processors.... but katong naka-try na jud ko, i guess presyo ra man siguro ang depernsya sa duha..... in connection sa news, mas naayo hinoun nga mas mo-nindot pa jud ang AMD... hope lang nga dili sya pareha sa Intel ka-mahal..... medyo barato pero maayo ug performance, mao na ako description sa AMD.... gud day...

Bro dako kalahian ang AMD ug INTEL sa architecture palang lahi kaayo. Ako eversince AMD jud ko almost 10 yrs na pero right now I am having problem with AMD AM2 processors coz init jud cya then I have no peace of mind since I got troubled etc..especially sa processor temperatures. I got AM2 4800 X2 with 60C or UP temperature when hot here it goes up...

Although now my PC is stable I cant imagine sa akong gasto to solved the problem. Then also sa mga na assemble nako sa INTEL new or old wala man nagkaproblema mao nga even they said timing timing lang pero my opinion I prefer INTEL first then AMD I have plans to build a quadcore INTEL soon.

AMD is even hotter jud na processor eversince I saw a lot of videos nga AMD na sunog nga gi kuhaan ug HSF while INTEL never but just shutdown. I said to my self INTEL is being consistent and even stable. I also got wondered why AMD made a lot of sockets w/c make all consumers confused.

AMD is good for gaming while INTEL is good APPLICATIONS they have all specific use asa jud dapit maayo cla gamiton.

Let see how AMD becoming a powerful machine when they split.

mao jud bro.. pero mag depende sad na sa budget sa user bro.. kay kong mag intel ka kay mas mahal man ang C2D kay sa X2 nya gmaay ra deperensya sa speed nya daku ug deperenysa sa price, tan awa sa pcx ang price sa Q-core kay parato na kayao ang AMD kay lupig sila sa speed sa Intel.. so.. kong gamay rata ug budget ok ra mag AMD.
