to top it off they never gave me a hard copy of the contract so that if there are complaints on my part I could show them the contract.

most users in san carlos city are complaining for their very slow connection...it's because congested na kaau ang server sa globelines...

Btw how do you install the modem? I'm planing to change hdd sometime by dec.

I really think my billing is wrong though I am yet to receive a copy of the bill I asked the hotline about it and they can't explain to me.

I signed up for 995 monthly and yet my bill is 1300+ for the dsl connection.

I was billed 1888 for the entire first month of DSL connection, I called the Customer Sales rep on this matter; they said there was an advance for the next month.

So dili jud diay 995 ang monthly kay sa first month nimo, naa man diay advance.

I just got the 2 MBPS package from globe, and this is what I've found out:

- d/l speeds during non-peak hours: up to 150 KBPS
- d/l speeds during peak hours: 30 KBPS to 60 KBPS!! =(

Still have to observe though, just upgraded my subscription from 384 kbps to 2 Mbps 3 days ago..

I got a 1.5mbps and im getting an average of 100-150kbps download speed offpeak or nonoffpeak. I sometimes get 200+kbps speed on some download sites.

I also heard that they are again doing a series of upgrade and stuffs I dont know which could increase further their speed. Currently globelines connection is direct to cebu already which has improved the speed but there are still SOME traffics going to manila. The thing they are doing now is to entirely eliminate those SOME traffic. Lets just hope for the best.

mao sad ang problem dre sa bohol.sa amoang office is 386 pro ang moabot less than 100kbps lang..cge pd clag ingn nga mag upgrade pro i dnt know when pa.hehehe..pro f lay lain ok lang ang globe may nlang kaysa wla..
