(it depends if what kind of job u are into.) discrimination?absolutely not!ive moved here 3 weeks ago and so far...i havent been discriminated infact they're very nice and accomodating. to be honest....i have more aussie friends that pinoy coz most pinoys here are unreachable...di na gale kahibaw magbisaya KUNO!which is really disgusting! so kung naa man gale mu discriminate...certainely not the pure aussies! high cost of living? definately!coz dagko man pud sweldo but though high cost og living dri...wa man kaayo naglisud dri...i dont really have any grudges about canada infact some of my relatives live there and recently they told me that they want to move here if they could coz aus.is the only country who isnt suffering for recession. australia has all the best resources in the world!name it all...they've got it all here!

yeh we get taxed on just about everything here, but at least it goes on to things like infrastructures, health, education, etc, and not into politicians pockets (well, not illegally)...you do get to claim some of the taxes back when you hand in your Tax Returns though...and since you are an accountant yeh? well, you can make it work for yourself..

well, discrimination is everywhere, whether its racial, religious, or sexual discrimination, australia is no different...but at least here its only from a very very small minority...there are laws in place for none of that to happen...ive seen more discrimination in the philippines in the few times ive been there than i have here in australia, and ive grown up here.

as for living costs, that shouldnt be an issue for you mate, accountants get payed well here.

AUS is not that bad at all.

Big Taxes? ....nearly 49% if you are on the highest bracket.
Discrimination?....I've been discriminated 100 times more in Manila than in OZ
High Cost of Living?....basic (elementary) comparison BigMac in Pinas is almost the same price in OZ

But the 3 above is not the only thing in OZ.....there are more....e.g. topless blondes
