obviously better to admit than to deny, eventually truth wil come out. it would be difficult to explain why you lied than admitting you're sorry...

the question is, are you intentionally doing the violation? If not, you can deny and ask for forgiveness otherwise humble yourself and accept.
Still a violation is a violation...you will have to face the (grave) consequences of your action(s).

read the original post, he said "caught" not "caught in the act", there is a big difference between those two.

If you're clearly at fault here then what's the point of lying... You're only gonna make things a lot worse if you resort to lying...
