Now, here's my stand. Misfit, unless you have in-depth knowledge of what you are violently condemning "pornography", you can step up to where we stand, one ladder above the common mentality, however I share the same with springfield, vern, fingolfin and others who doesn't find morality issues with pornography. You have to learn a few basics to grasp why we stand against your side, there is legal pornography and illegal pornography. Western countries like the US regulate the porn industry conscientiously, which means there are laws governing pornography. TVs, movies, reading materials are properly rated to avoid minors getting access to these mature materials. TV namo diri mam kay naay locks ang mga remotes which restricts mature channels even the violent ones from children, Internet naa say guard... It is the parents responsibilities to hide their Playboy magazines from the children, probably lock them in a safe.

The question of morality is actually not stupid misfit. One thing I advice you not to do when you debate here, ayaw sulti a person's opinion or comment is stupid. Kay attack na sa ilang intellect or even awareness of what they were saying. Yaw lang gyud ingon ug stupid kay dili raba stupid ang mga taw diri. I find the question interesting because people see morality in soo many different ways.

Now let me go on, pornography's aim is to stimulate a person's sexual arousal, it actually depends on the person on the other end watching these porn videos intention why he watches them. So when I hear people rant about morality, makaana ko, pataka lang ni sila ug define unsa gyud ning morality. Morality is the current standard of common norms accepted by general society.

So misfit ang imong values nga imong gi-fight is ... our values of the old. Dili tanang values nato nga kinaraan applicable sa atong panahon karon. When you become a parent you will have to learn to adjust these standards to current standards of society. Kay ang mga anak nimo puhon will be more open-minded about their sexuality. Let me just add this, the growing population of women watching porn is really growing. It actually increases sexual drive and ... makes their sexual married lives better... dili gyud hinuon ma boring ang kaminyuon. Questions on MORALITY and ETHICS don’t deal justly with the subject.

"Honour" is an attribute that is taken for granted in any relationship - and in the case of marriage it is part of any couple's vows.

As long as women arbitrarily employ ”the headache” as an excuse for reason, logic and earnest communication, pornography will be an alternative necessity for the frustrations of any man in a relationship, whereas most other alternatives are far worse.

In the case of men (or women) living on their own that "chosen necessity" goes without saying.

In any case, who is it who decides when, where, how and with whom anyone may experience carnal pleasure? Have women be allotted that task? It appears that it is they who most concern themselves - but is it really any of their business?

its surprising to see people- especially women who speak against pornography. yet they allow members of their own to be used, exploited by makers of smuts. if they're really against it then they should do something about members of their group who pose in these smuts.even the ones in the soft porno genre. they think its ok coz its "soft". little did they know its sends the same visual message to people who view it-sexual obsession...

wmsu_rebel, it's people like you who see porn stars as being exploited. These are actors too... much as like Sharon Cuneta crying in a movie. Porn stars act in their scenes. Although some movies may exhibit manipulation or even rape, those are still acting too. Basically what these movies imply is not sexual violence but it satisfies a certain persons preferred sexual fantasies. It is their right to choose their profession, I know they're more like prostitutes at least their range of sexual partners in their industry is limited. Dili lang ta mag judge noh, kay para nila dagku man sad sila ug kita.

In economics pa, they're just supplying the need. Ug walay need wala say supply. For me, pornography is not immoral if you'll use it responsibly.....with your spouse, lovers, or to yourself.

It can become immoral, if after watching a porn movie, because you're a pathetic, ugly guy, you rape somebody....
