people listen coz this is true:
It’s time for government to look at its own backyard. It’s not only private companies and individuals who have not been cooperative in the government’s drive to increase the revenue.
In 2007, various national government agencies, local government units, and government owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) have been remiss in remitting to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) the taxes they withheld from their employees.
Data from the 2007 annual report of the Commission on Audit (COA) show this accounted for a revenue loss totaling to P18.6 billion.
IF only these billions are still present, it could help a lot to those families with no homes, build better dwellings for those families living in shacks, small shanty houses under the bridges, sea, build orphanage for those streetchildren, build parks for children ,better govt.hospital services, provide food for those in jail, mind u ,some jails dont provide food for those who are detained...we have the right to live anyways, even they are outlaws, still its more painful to starve to death. and what for those who are innocent but in jail?
our government is ****ed up. I dont wanna raise my children here. we dont have green parks for children. Their playground is the streets.Justice here is overlooked.u cant get justice here. how in the world our government has become like this..im not wishing for the best like what other countries have, mine is just make our country a little bit ok.i pray this wont happen but maybe next ten years our country would be like garbage.
All i can say is,this is the way of life in the philippines...
