Default Time for government to look at its own backyard

people listen coz this is true:

It’s time for government to look at its own backyard. It’s not only private companies and individuals who have not been cooperative in the government’s drive to increase the revenue.

In 2007, various national government agencies, local government units, and government owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) have been remiss in remitting to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) the taxes they withheld from their employees.

Data from the 2007 annual report of the Commission on Audit (COA) show this accounted for a revenue loss totaling to P18.6 billion.

IF only these billions are still present, it could help a lot to those families with no homes, build better dwellings for those families living in shacks, small shanty houses under the bridges, sea, build orphanage for those streetchildren, build parks for children ,better govt.hospital services, provide food for those in jail, mind u ,some jails dont provide food for those who are detained...we have the right to live anyways, even they are outlaws, still its more painful to starve to death. and what for those who are innocent but in jail?
our government is ****ed up. I dont wanna raise my children here. we dont have green parks for children. Their playground is the streets.Justice here is overlooked.u cant get justice here. how in the world our government has become like this..im not wishing for the best like what other countries have, mine is just make our country a little bit ok.i pray this wont happen but maybe next ten years our country would be like garbage.
All i can say is,this is the way of life in the philippines...

i wished i was not born here, every second of my life i have been wishing that. u cant help me ,ur not a genie!u are rich i think coz u dont feel the hardships living here or u just dont care about the people living in hand to mouth existence, cant u feel the pain families living in small shacks, shanty houses, with kids having a bulging tummy?cant u see the corrupt practices of politicians here? yes,it's universal but im just wonderin' our justice is a ghost...u cant feel and see it.

u know that all filipinos would want to leave this country? i think only rich prefers to stay..our government is very obsolete and ****ed up,to think our country has high potential.

the bottomline of your comment is " u r rich and aspiring politician"

Just this week I've read an article from Phil. Inquirer, this columnist was comparing our country with the others nga naay stadium like in China created for the olympics, Australia and many more. Ato country has no stadium daw that can hold at least 90k people, he even cited an example sa concert ni Beyonce nga the event organizers had to suicide the concert and held it in an open area coz walay place to hold a massive number of people here in our country. So this columnist was appealing to the government to make a stadium that can hold 100k people or even more. ..Now he has this email contact if ever someone would react to his posts, and I did emailed that guy. I told him, "No wonder why our country is not progressing, it's because of some people with a seat who thinks like the way you do" ...Why build a megastructure in our country? We can't afford it, its not a priority, it's not necessity. My point is, think for the common good and not for yourself. IF our government officials will start with themselves, our government will follow.

Elections are a good deal like marriages.
There's no accounting for anyone's taste.
Every time we see a bride-groom we wonder why she ever picked him,
and it's the same with public officials.

The way you speak and the way you judge people you don't even know, i'll say you don't belong in this country at all. I am not rich and i am not a politician. I work for a living. Ikaw hinuon ang rich kay mobalhin gud ka ug laing nasud. Mura man ka ug kagahapon ra gipanganak nga nabag-ohan sa sitwasyon sa imong palibot. And then you'll say i hurt you? Ang comment hinuon nimo ang nakapasakit sa parehas nimong pilipino. Pilipino man kaha ka.
