i have the CD too...i think ill never forget this one...
    read by Julia & Andy

And now you’re mine (Love Sonnet LXXXI)

Now, you are mine. Rest with your dream inside my dream.
Love, pain, and work, must sleep now.
    Night revolves on invisible wheels
and joined to me you are pure as sleeping amber.

No one else will sleep with my dream, love.
You will go; we will go joined by the waters of time.
No other one will travel the shadows with me,
only you, ever green, ever sun, ever moon.

Already your hands have opened their delicate fists
and let fall, without direction, their gentle signs,
your eyes enclosing themselves like two grey wings,
while I follow the waters you bring that take me onwards:
night, Earth, winds weave their fate, and already,
not only am I not without you, I alone am your dream.

i love all of the tracks in the CD but my favorite was Ode to the Sea read by Ralph Fiennes.
    he was soooo good!

    Ode to the Sea
    Pablo Neruda

    HERE
    Surrounding the island
    There's sea.
    But what sea?
    It's always overflowing.
    Says yes,
    Then no,
    Then no again,
    And no,
    Says yes
    In blue
    In sea spray
    Raging,
    Says no
    And no again.
    It can't be still.
    It stammers
    My name is sea.

    It slaps the rocks
    And when they aren't convinced,
    Strokes them
    And soaks them
    And smothers them with kisses.
    With seven green tongues
    Of seven green dogs
    Or seven green tigers
    Or seven green seas,
    Beating its chest,
    Stammering its name,

    Oh Sea,
    This is your name.
    Oh comrade ocean,
    Don't waste time
    Or water
    Getting so upset
    Help us instead.
    We are meager fishermen,
    Men from the shore
    Who are hungry and cold
    And you're our foe.
    Don't beat so hard,
    Don't shout so loud,
    Open your green coffers,
Place gifts of silver in our hands.
    Give us this day
    our daily fish.

^^ Poets tend to forget to write the subject about cheese.

    Untitled

    There is a pretty girl
    on the
    Face
    of the magazine
    And
    all I see
    is my dirty
    hands
    turning the page

    Little breasts attached to
    skinny ribs and hungry bellies
    determined legs
    persuasive swing
    careful hands
    she stands
    a greater threat to herself
    than the cigarette
    she consumes

    P.S
    I wrote you those nice
    poems only because
    the honest ones
    would frighten you

    Be Kind

    we are always asked
    to understand the other person's
    viewpoint
    no matter how
    out-dated
    foolish or
    obnoxious.

    one is asked
    to view
    their total error
    their life-waste
    with
    kindliness,
    especially if they are
    aged.

but age is the total of
    our doing.
    they have aged
    badly
    because they have
    lived
    out of focus,
    they have refused to
    see.

    not their fault?

    whose fault?
    mine?

    I am asked to hide
    my viewpoint
    from them
    for fear of their
    fear.

    age is no crime

    but the shame
    of a deliberately
    wasted
    life

    among so many
    deliberately
    wasted
    lives

    is.

    at magiging matapat ako

    at siyang nakaraan
    pero sasabihin ko ngayon
    nakahanda ako
    na ipaglaban ito
    kagaya ng pakikibakang ating tinotono
    ipaglalaban ko ito
    kapara ng rebolusyong
    masalimuot man ay ating sinusulong

    piping walang kamay
