when you are down, there is no where to go but up... eventually, mo-recover ra gihapon ang economy sa US, basin after na sa result sa election... ma-optimistic na ug balik ang mga investors...

Fish - well we've been down for the past year... so far wala pa mo saka ug balik. Do you really think this election ITSELF will get the confidence back? How? How will the investors gain confidence? How will they change their mindset and become optimistic? Maybe you know something kay so far, our President, Secretary of Treasury, Fed Chairman, and Congress have failed over over again with repeated bailouts and a $700+ rescue bill. How?

Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?

yeah, even in the company I'm with, they have to release a lot of people just to keep up with the business. however, it doesn't mean it will be the end. sometimes, we all have to endure the hard times to keep things going and make it better when we rise from the crisis.

who says that Bailout will give us resurrection at Wall St.or Main St.? i understand, that we need to take risks at some points in our life...but for me, the intense of the urgency of the bailout issue is another huge mistake and the dumbest thing probably our govt. did so far. peace sa uban na nag sunod ani na thread ha....i do respect all ur inputs gyud. we are all concern and this is not a joke to just play around na. this is more than istorya/talk....this is our life here in america!

ang ako lang, govt shud have thinked of other ways (i dont know what cud those be...haayyyy) aside from bailout. i know ang ako point ky naay downside pod like the time frame to act out is not supporting on the tax payers' part, BUT even the govt. will take time to think things over & over (i dont care bahala sa Capitol sila magbuntag ug discuss) at least ang plans na ma-formulate unta for the economy is little bit with security and a bit of certainty man lang para sa mga tao and sa global market. I dont give a d..mn, kung unsa ka slow mahimo ang plans basta ang clarity and surety ky naa. written, outlined in black n white to gain back the TRUST they lost from the people.

i dont wish to stray away with the topic here but i just felt the need to make a small association with human psychology:

Simple solution as it may seem to us but it takes a lot of work to REGAIN back the TRUST sa mga tao and the market. to think ha, pinaka basic human psychology unta bya ni. TRUST vs. MISTRUST is the very 1st stage from the Developmental tasks of Erik Erikson book of Developmental Psychology na dapat ma fulfill sa kada usa nato to attain self-actualization in life. if unahon unta ni ug fix ang TRUST...basi naa pa pag-asa for our future to work out that wud eventually be brighter and happier for that matter. yet, its going to be very difficult for sure ky TIME is against all of US.

peace to everyone who thinks differently and uniquely

Vienzel - I totally agree with you. Kabalo na bitaw ka nako - right after I read the first draft, I was already against it. Rescue Bill my tush!! .. that bill is all about WALL STREET on the get go. And bisag unsaon nila ug revise.. it is still a PRO WALL STREET bill.

Check this market action from Friday (when the bill was passed) til today - this very hour.. notice how the drop is - even after the announcement of GLOBAL central bank rate cuts. You just have to ask yourself.. did they restore even just a little bit of confidence
