i think the layout is alright. it looks clean and organized. I don't know why but there is something about the monochromatic tone that I like about it.

though, i really want the width to be more fluid.
but, it seems difficult to implement with the web template that i'm using.

the site is ok. template is ok although too much grey... add some color to it. like others here are saying, its too bare. it would really kicked a$$ if you made the whole thing from scratch. ^_____^ but all in all, it's a decent website.

-- Are those borders necessary for the folder icons?
-- Remove the background on each category, look at your Featured Listings box it's all white and it looks better.

2. Recent Listings
-- Same as Category Area, the background on each entry, try using dashed separators on each entry.

You should work more on your color themes, try kuler

I did try to use a white background before but I haven't tried using it with dashed separators.

I did two versions coded from scratch.
but it lacked a lot of features and was already taking too much of my time.
Finally, I decided that it was more cost-effective to get a ready-made script and extend it.

Try other color themes. Nindot to gi suggest ni neugent. I like the layout, it's organized and easy to navigate ang site. Pero ako lang ha, murag dako-an ra ko sa imong headers. Ang categories nga links wala na-align sa folder icons.
