OT: not believing or unbelief about God narrows our mind and blind us as well.

Did you have the opportunity to study each religion and assess their truth claims?

I haven't had the opportunity myself, but so far I can say that belief in God is reasonable, and Christianity can be backed up by historical facts.

Just like the story in the Bible of two men in the temple. The other one was rich and the other poor. The rich one said something nga kung bisay-on pa nagaingon "Lord maayo ko nga tawo, mo simba ko kanimo ug mag hatagan ug tithes, dili parehas anang usa ka tawo diha (looks at the other guy), salamat kaayo nga dili ko parehas ana niya."

Some people just like to reassure themselves that they are indeed going to heaven by comparing notes. They go through the motions of being a "God-fearing" human being but all the while neglecting one very important thing to try to remember: Whatever you do unto the least of my brethren you do unto me.

Let me just say amen to that, sir. "historical facts" and people would deny even its true. how crazy could that be. what can i say? That's as true as Magellan discovered the Philippines..

    Historical facts= Truth?

Ninoy Aquino was assasinated, thats historical fact. but ang tinood nga mastermind according to them was a general,is that the truth? hmmm or fall guy ra si general?

anyway my point is, historical facts do not necessarily mean TRUTH.

Nope, and if I have the opportunity... I would do it without any cost. Although, we have means of learning nowadays - it's long term process but it will give me opportune time to know - not all, but some. However, if people would think that all "historical facts" are true... that's up to you - besides, the person or persons who tells about the past had their own versions to tell (stories)... most of them are colorful for the readers but people neglect to see the garbage behind it. yeah, christianity can back up their stories... mind you those are people who tell tales and the same people (like you and me) commit mistakes.
