Believe it or not but unfortunately, yes they do. We may say that some cases were accidentally caused by contaminated plastic containers but some cases are intentional and deliberate. These scammers add water to their milk produce to increase volume output and add melamine to their "watered down milk" to compensate for the protein content lost. So in effect, mo pasar ra sa protein test. Unfortunately for these scammers, nasakspan lang gyud in the end...
Coz melamine is a protein. Same case with that processed luncheon meat and corned beef story. Meaning, they tampered with their products.
In fact, one dairy owner admitted the practice. And some owners of dairy farms in China were already arrested, caught in the act of obtaining a truckload of melamine.
The reality is, some people would go after squeezing more money even if they know is very risky enough for their business. They don't even care sa welfare of their consumers.
