hi, that's elligal you can report to the mayor if its a government hospital. you are entitled of an employment certificate if you reach 6 months of work, if you have no pending records/bad records . tell them on what labor code they are following when issuing the 2years certificate policy

.. but i signed the contract of 2years minimum service to the hospital before i could get a COE .. can i still make a move?

it is not illegal.. it is clearly stipulated mn sa imo g.signan na contract na dpat m.render ka atlst 2yrs or service sa company.. so by signing it n.agree ka sa ila terms.. bsn asa pka corteha m.abot wa jd ka mahimo..

hi CL. even if you signed that contract which allows them not to issue an employment certificate should you not reach 2 full years of employment from their company, you can still demand such certificate becasue you are protected by the Labor Code. we don't really have to go into details about it basta always remember that the foundation of law is that 'nobody should gain advantage over somebody's demise'. in your case, asking for an employment certificate won't, in any way, result an unfair advantage over the company. ergo...it's legal and valid.
