have you tried putting a static ip for your wifi on Aopen mini PC?
please check the firmware version of your WRT54G..... and the version of your WRT54G. If you have a version 5 or 6 update your firmware because it's a documented problem.

DHCP server issues affect differently on different network adapters. Download it from linksys website.
