    Default Toshiba Satellite Laptop Problem When Installing WinXP...


    Good Day,

    Mga fellow istoyansters.....help me to solve this problem...ng install ko ug windows xp sa kani nga model Toshiba M205-7453 Laptop, then ang iya prblem is dli cya ka detect ug Hardisk, then mo detect cya sa BIOS..ang iya current OS kay XP ra ghapon, perte na nako search sa internet about ani nga laptop, pro wla jud ko nakit-an..hope makatabang mo sa ako prob mga istoryans...

    naa na sa bios bro..bootdisk type for non vista..

    if maka anhi ka sa it park, bring ur lappy and ur installer.

    ill install it for u.

    a stick of green marlboro lang u have 2 give.

    yosi while installing ...

    lau man amo bro..hehehe..pro wla may options niya sa iya BIOS bro about sa hardisk..

    Bro, sakto si bro butitoy. you can make a diskette driver para ma detect sa XP installation ang imo SATA hard drive. that driver is provided with the CD driver that came with your laptop unit.

    Or another solution is install Vista. just download the necessary Vista drivers for your laptop beforehand.

    i went through the same ordeal when i installed xp on my "vista only" compaq presario. i just disabled the SATA native support in the BIOS and installed everything without any problems.

    Bro, good if kini na certain model naay option sa bios, like my Asus A8E, wala so gamit me external floppy drive..wel try lang niya update ang bios.

    check how the hard drive operates in BIOS...if its running as AHCI or RAID, change it to IDE emulation or whatever the setting is in there.
