Parts for honda are much more expensive than toyota. The maintenance for ford is not high at all and their service is top notch. I've owned a expedition since 02 and maintenance costs have been VERY low. so i disagree with you on ford being expensive. BMW however is expensive if you do it in the casa.

Thats true, they recommend to change the battery with them and mahal kaayo ang battery tag P8,000. but i manage to change it myself using motolite para maka save ko. but Ford grabe mamunal.

My friends remote for his explorer was broken and had to be ordered in USA because the price here is times 4 to 5 the price you can buy in US. Wala ayo gyud ang ford.

d man mahal ang honda.. huna huna ra na sa uban.. talking of service also, bati akong experience sa toyota.. amo gpa check up among prado, igo ra ko ni complain sa unsa ang mag tingog, gpresyuhan dayon ko and wa pa gali nila g check up, gi pull out na lang gd namo.. unlike honda na ila pa e check up kung unsa imo g complain then ingnon ka nila kung unsa ilisanan and nara nmo if adto nmo ipabuhat sa ila and tagaan sad ka nila sa cost daan, but if imo ipabuhat sa gawas, ok ra...

in short... same price sa unit, same price sa parts.. if gusto ka genuine or taiwan (where most people buy for both manufacturers), ang difference lang jud nila is the service.. sa toyota mura mas dali2x gamay compared sa honda na perte ka dugay mag check up, change oil, repaint.. etc. nag pailis rami ug device kana para sa main na power window (driver's side), it took them 2 days.. while anha lang ka sa gawas, half day, function na imo power window...and not to mention, nag pa repaint ko sa amo civic.. niabot ug 2months!!!

you can't compare with prices here and in the US. anyway you cut it, the prices in the US are a lot cheaper. For the battery, of course they want you to buy it in the casa but you can buy else where. that's how i do it.

With my experience i don't spend a lot there. maybe for my 50k check up for my expy i shelled out a lot but that's once every 50k. I think i spent like 40 but i changed a lot of parts just to not have any future problems.

Yep thats why I change my own battery. Also, You cant help but to source out parts from the USA because Ford philippines is making a killing here. The quality of Ford is not that good and yet they charge so much for the parts. Thats why Ford does not have any resale value here in the Philippines and also in USA. You know I lost a lot of money on Ford cars, by the time you do not want it anymore. Nobody is willing to buy your Ford at a reasonable price. You have to sell it very cheap to dispose it. Thats why I learned my lesson and I am never gonna buy a Ford again.

Well, the thing i like about the expy is the ride but i've had for quite a while so i'm going to get ride of it soon and hopefully get a bimmer. I probably won't go with another ford either. I'll just have to see.
