hahaha. nahimuot gyud ko aning istoryaha dah. Sa NJ, u can't even do an open barbecue in the neighborhood. U have to use a compliant grill. Otherwise, mo aso ug maayo unya delikado pka ma kiha sa silingan.

Ok ra unta kung personal consumption ra, pero gi negosyo man, so meaning PUBLIC CONSUMPTION. u have to have a business and sanitary permit for that. AND THE PROPER LOCATION too.

I have heard of another story but this is not about lechon. This is true bya ha. A couple petitioned their old parents into the US, maybe to help take care sa ilang siblings. One afternoon, the lola is sweeping(or raking) their front yard of falling leaves, as it is her usual habit in the Phils. so kay nka tapok naman sa dry leaves, iya dayon gi dauban. so u know na, smoke here and there.

Do u know what happened next? Screaming police cars, an ambulance, and a fire truck came rushing into the scene. Somebody from the neighborhood reported the matter to the authorities as a fire alarm. The still shocked lola, when asked about it, just said, "AW DILI DIAY PWEDE DIRE? (translated in broken English)". The young couple was so embarrassed by the incident. They forgot to brief their parents about the do's and dont's that's why.

For me I did not see racist intention ang kano dinhi. Ila ra man gi pasaka ilang law. ang naka lahi lang kay
