Honda: Expensive to Maintain, Truth or Myth?

First of all, let me greet all Istoryans a good day. This is my first post here.

I would just like to get your opinion on this matter: Are Hondas generally expensive to maintain than Toyotas? Let me narrow it down to 2 specific models. Let's say the 2008 models of the City vs Vios. Which would be more expensive to maintain 5 to 10 years down the road? Please give your inputs. Thanks in advance.
