+1 BUT only infront of a tube amp. Use it in a solid state amp(although naai exception ang uban esp those we'll designed ones), di ba kay mawad.an ka og gana og kaskas o gitik-gitik..

Of all the solid state amps that I've tried with my Maxon OD-9 (washburn, peavey, marshall, fender, yamaha, line 6, kato no-name black amps in JB, a no-name keyboard amp, and a Carlsbro bass amp), so far everything sounds phenomenal. That's why it's the one pedal that I could not sell/let go. I've already sold some boutique pedals but not this Maxon. Again, these are all in my experience only. Maybe you have a different experience, I presume...

Maxon OD-9

Maxons are great pedals, love to try those 9 series.
I have the OD-820 and sounds phenomenal! Very loud (+25db if gain! I think....) but also very transparent! It has more gain than your standard OD pedal (I'm comparing this to the tubescreamer's gain amount) but is still very dynamic! This pedal is one of my favorites!

sa tanan nako nagamit nga dist and drive pedals mas ganahan ko sa ako TS9 ug sa ako DS1 nga japan, nakauway nako ug metal zone b4 but dili jud ko contento sa sound... boss turbo od fyts pud i've tried it but wala ko ana nga fx, boss heavy metal mas ok kysa metal zone... nahan pud unta ko mu-try ana ts808, maxon od ug fulltone ocd kung unsa jud ilang lasa... as of now ang ts9 pa ang pinaka-nindot nga ako nagamit.

I got the chance to borrow a Digitech Bad Monkey last night. Grabe pod. Sakto ra kaayo ang gain. Litok kaayo ang tingog niya. Kung gitarista ka nga kusug mu-lead, nindot siya kay klaro kaayo ang sound mugawas unya sakto ra kaayo iyang sustain, unlike sa uban dist na sobraan ang sustain. Hilom kaayo siya, kung mu-feedback man kanang controlado ra sa gitarista ug "desirable" iyang feedback - like kanang mu-pause mu sa inyong kanta unya mu-padung balik sulod ang gitara - nindot mana butangan ug murag mu-fade-in na feedback - ana kanindot. heard nice things about this pedal/direct box. Pero wa pa ko kadungog ani.
I had tested and used the original sansamp before and it sounded great through the board. Mamili lang ni siyag nindot nga guitar amp otherwise it would sound very muddy on the low end.

+1000000.....and we built them component to component except it's being true bypassed..hhehehe
